E-mail from senior leadership on this project: “The templates look good, but why are you referring to supervisors as ‘Managers’? We don’t call them managers since some people who rate others are not in positions that are management. Please correct this verbiage to align with our process.”
My response: “Since I am not authorized to make business decisions or changes on my own, the text on the new forms was copied verbatim from the forms you are currently using for this process.”
Nothing quite like a company that doesn’t know any of its own processes. Yay.
